Esha is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Human Rights lawyer by profession. As a regular in the field of civilian peace-building and advocacy, the fights of muslim women are not fiction for her. Project Darya is inspired by the experiences and dilemma of a lady who she has closely seen fight alienation and patriarchy, with patience and faith, one battle at a time.
Habiba Akther
Lead, UK Chapter
Habiba is a London based rights activist and is currently working as a researcher where she is responsible for analysing the legal markets of jurisdictions worldwide for a corporate readership. She is passionate about upholding civil liberties, access to justice for marginalized communities, and women’s rights issues specifically located in the Middle East and the Global South. An alumnus of the University of London, Habiba holds a BA (Hons) in International Relations from Goldsmiths and an MA in Human Rights Law from SOAS.
Arnaaz Ameer

Arnaaz is a 2020 Schwarzman Scholar, a former Legislative Assistant to Member of Parliament in India and a lawyer by training. She is a graduate of Gujarat National Law University, India. Arnaaz enjoys photography and travelling in her free time and is known as a critical thinker and a vocal feminist by friends and foes alike!
